Important Conditions
Ayahuasca is contraindicated for guests taking certain medications, those with heart conditions, serious psychological disorders, or anyone unwilling to follow the required pre-ceremony diet.
You must adhere strictly to a physical and energetic diet for at least three days before and after the ceremony: no alcohol, caffeine, red meat, dairy, sex, or stimulants.
Participation is voluntary and personal. Minors are not permitted.

Physical and emotional preparation (before the trip)
- Follow a pre-diet for at least 3 days before the retreat:
- Avoid red meat, sausages, very salty foods, refined sugars, alcohol, drugs, coffee, and processed foods.
- Do not take antidepressants, sleeping pills, or stimulants (consult your doctor if you take these regularly).
- Avoid sexual relations or intense energetic activities during the days prior (according to shamanic tradition).
- Prepare yourself emotionally:
- Reflect on your intention to participate.
- It is advisable to maintain an open, respectful attitude without rigid expectations.
- If you have a psychological or psychiatric history, please consult with the organizing team beforehand.
What to bring
- Light, cotton clothing in neutral colors (preferably white or light-colored for the ceremony).
- Natural or DEET-free insect repellent.
- Headlamp with spare batteries.
- Reusable water bottle.
- Biodegradable personal hygiene items.
- Quick-drying towel.
- Personal diary or notebook (if you want to write down your experience).
During the ceremony
- Respect the silence and space of other participants.
- Listen and follow the instructions of the shaman or guide.
- Allow yourself to let go of control and trust the process.
- It is permissible to cry, laugh, purge (vomit), move, or remain silent.
- Do not leave the space without informing the guide or support staff.
After the ceremony
- Take time to rest and integrate the experience.
- Stay hydrated and continue with a light diet for at least one more day.
- Avoid strong stimuli (alcohol, social media, arguments, etc.) for the next few days.
- If you need it, seek support or emotional integration with a therapist or spiritual guide.
