From Patabamba, we begin the trek along ancient Inca trails, surrounded by spectacular landscapes: mountains, deep valleys, and traditional communities.
On the way we cross the Pukamarca Pass (approx. 4,200 m), the highest point of the route, from where you have panoramic views of the Sacred Valley and the snow-capped mountains.
We then descend into the Puma Punku canyon , where we cross an ancient Inca bridge and continue among impressive rock formations.

Upon arrival at the Huchuy Qosqo (“Little Cusco”) archaeological complex, located above the Sacred Valley at 3,600 m (12,000 ft), your guide will explain its history, ceremonial functions, and agricultural practices. The site includes terraces, warehouses, canals, and Inca stone and adobe structures.
Here we will have time to explore, rest, and enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the valley below.
